See you there!

Mahurangi Regatta shoreside events

Launch parade

TThe Mahurangi Cruising Club and the CYA are keen to make the 2018 Classic Launch Parade the best and biggest that Mahurangi has ever seen.

There will be a dedicated photographer on hand to take images of your gorgeous vessels and we will also have an expert on hand to announce you as you pass close to the shore. And, as you all look so amazing, we have set aside pages in the next Mahurangi Yearbook to feature the Launch Parade, plus any suitable articles you may like to submit to our editor.

To help us achieve this, can you, please register with Joyce Talbot via email or on 021 818 448.  We will send you the meeting place and time …. it is usually around 10am at Scott’s Landing.

The Mahurangi Cruising club January newsletter has more details included.

Anchoring in Sullivan’s Bay

All arriving yachts and launches are requested to keep clear of the fairway marked by orange buoys laid in Sullivan’s Bay – this will form the access route into the bay for the classic launch parade.

Saturday evening BBQ & dance

Kick-off 1830hrs. Prize-giving will be held in front of the marquee at Scott’s Landing, followed by dancing under the big tent to the Prohibition Big Band. Barbecues will be provided – BYO everything else. Come ashore at your leisure.
