Owned by the same meticulous owner since new, this boat has only seen love and improvement over her lifetime. Built in Port Townsend in 1974, Danika is a custom-built Bill Crealock designed West Sail 42.
Her interior is constructed from Alaskan red and yellow cedar, complemented by Honduras mahogany cabinetry and doors.

She has cruised the world, keeping her owners safe and dry. She is a safe boat in the ocean and her cutter rig performs well in the breeze. The fully battened main drops into a lazy bag for easy stowage.
On deck there is a great solar arch encompassing dinghy davits and an outboard crane. The inbuilt lockable deck boxes create additional storage space. There is a fantastic enclosure around the cockpit, with covers that can be rolled back on summery days. There is a launch-style dashboard for all the controls, VHF and plotter. She features an extensive electronics package, with plenty of ways to produce power.

In 2018 she underwent a huge interior refit carried out by Blair Boats, which included new tankage and yellow cedar substructure, 7 new sliding drawers, re-modeled refrigeration/freezer insulation and doors, new Kauri wood cabinets in the head and galley, mast & boom strip and Awlgrip paint, all new upholstery and cushions, new stack pack and lazy jacks, new Awlgrip hull paint, raised S/S railing around the entire vessel, interior paint and varnish, new Victron battery control system and in 2022, new Kalb 720amph batteries and new AGM starter battery, new boat cover with privacy/shade mesh.

After years at sea, the owners are moving to land. Danika has had her annual maintenance just completed and is seriously for sale!
