Cyrena - New Zealand built traditional sloop - C class yacht

Cyrena was designed by Charles Bell in 1938 and built by Collings and Bell of Ponsonby, Auckland in 1939. Her hull is carvel built 1” Kauri, and the deck is 7/8th “ Kauri with 3/8th Teak overlay. – Please see trade me for more pictures and video
Principle dimensions:- LOA 33 feet; Beam 8ft 6 ins; Draft 5ft 8 ins;
Displacement: 7 ½ tonnes
She is masthead rigged with aluminum spars and stainless steel rigging with Norseman fittings.
Sails: All in good condition consisting of Mainsail- fully battened and has sail cover; Genoa jib, set up in Reef –rite furling system and has sun cloth protection panel when fully furled; Spare smaller jib with Reef –rite furling slides attached; Spinnaker; Flanker.
Comprehensive inventory includes:- Inflatable rubber dingy (as new) 2 x Anderson stainless steel 2-speed headsail sheet winches (46 ST/FS); 3 bronze halyard winches;
1 x 35lb CQR anchor with all chain road on bronze hand-winch; 1 kedge anchor with combined chain and rope warp.
Self steering vanegear- ‘Hasler’; Autohelm; VHF; GPS; Depth Sounder; Navman Log; Radio/ CD player; Full size chart table; 2 x horseshoe shaped life rings; Fully fitting all weather cushions for cockpit. Good selection mooring warps.
Engine:- Yanmar 1GM – 7 HP with Kiwi feather prop; 1 Diesel tank – capacity 7 imperial gallons; 2 Water tanks stainless steel construction.
Galley;- Stainless steel sink with both fresh water & sea water pumps.
Gimbaled gas oven/grill /2 burner rings on top.
Various galley equipment incl. cooking utensils, kettle, pans, plates,
bowls mugs, etc.
Small solar panel & 12 volt regulator to charge battery.
Attractive ‘Newport’cabin diesel heater.

The interior is beautifully crafted in Kauri and Mahogany and has 5 berths. The whole vessel is in excellent condition having just completed a refit on hull, deck and internally.
Cyrena is a superb sea-going yacht, she has completed an 11 year circumnavigation in the past.
