DESCRIPTION:23-25th January 2026\n\n\nMahurangi Weekend\n\nA favorite event on the CYA calendar\, over the weekend the ‘Mahurangi’ harbour becomes a haven for Classic lovers\, where launches\, sailboats and dinghies converge for three days of fun and frivolity. \n\nProgram of Events\n\nRALLYING:\nFriday: \nAll launches cruising to Mahurangi\,  you may wish to follow the fleet at 1530 \nSaturday: \n0900 hours\, At Mahurangi\, start off the day’s with shore activities  in Sullivans Bay\, sand sculpture\, sea kayak race\, sack race\, tug of war\, swimming races\, dinghy races\, pétanque\, 3-legged races and much much more. \n0930 hours\, Classic launch parade muster off Scotts Landing. \n \n\nMahurangi Launch Parade Course 2026 \n  \n\n1100 hours\, On your boat or on-shore\, enjoy watch the classic yachts  as they race up and down the harbour and out around Saddle island. \n\n\n1830 hours\, The CYA Mahurangi BBQ feast sponsored by L’Authentique and Lidgard Sails .
