Round Rangitoto Cake Day
Calling all classic boaties for the final passage event of the 2025-2026 season! This is the 6th and final race in the passage series.
Either join the rally, yacht racing, or log rally, with prize giving at the Cake Day.
So start thumbing through your cookbooks for your best cake recipes and get them to the old tennis community center at Isy bay.
There will be prizes for best tasting, best decorated, best manmade cakes and supreme winner.
Program of Events
RACING:
The 6th and final race in the passage series.
This CYA race starts at Northern Leading buoy, from 1100hrs and finishes at Islington Bay with prizegiving and the Lawson’s Dry Hills Cake Day (see details below).

CRUISING:
Cruise on down to Rangitoto while watching the fleet racing around the island Meet at Islington Bay after the race for the Cake competition with prizes for best tasting, best decorated, best manmade cakes and supreme winner.
OFF-WATER EVENT:

Cake competition with prizes for best tasting, best decorated, best manmade cakes and supreme winner.
Held ashore at the old tennis community center at Isy bay (200m walk off Islington wharf. Low tide is scheduled for 1953 hours).
Theme: Victorian. Adorn your most flamboyant period outfit or your best Chad Thompson moustache. Victorian China encouraged.
