The Bailey & Lowe launch Winsome, launched in 1918 is looking for a new home. Winsome has been a part of four generations of the Pickmere family since 1924 cruising & charting Northland’s coast.

From Lloyds Reg. 1978:

Length: TM 30.2, OA 34.0 WL 29.5; Bdth: 8.4; Draft 2.7;

Builders: W.G.Lowe, Designer W. Bailey; 1918.

Currently Installed:

Marinised and fitted with Borg Warner gearbox off Crysler.  Engine beds rebuilt. Engine enclosed in cover.

Datamarine (USA) digital sounder – Furuno Sounder

V.H.F and C.B. radio. Saltwater pressure system

Sanden compressor fitted and cockpit helm seat rebuilt incorporating a proper freezer, fridge, and chiller under the cockpit seat.

Galley area rebuilt: Primus out. to accommodate stainless steel sink bench and gas stove (Flavel)

Electric capstan – Lucas, installed. Hinged duckboard fitted

“Rocket Launcher” incorporating S/S Jackstaff with Rod holders, Furuno Radar, C.B. Aerial, Deck and riding lights.

A Genuine Classic with “Mod Cons.”
