2026 Mahurangi Weekend
Friday-Sunday 23rd-25th January 2026
A favorite event on the CYA calendar, over the weekend the Mahurangi harbour becomes a haven for Classic lovers, where launches, sailboats and dinghies converge for three days of fun and frivolity.
This 3-day long event starts on Friday with a Classic Boat Rally and a Yacht Night Race up to Mahurangi, 3rd race in the CYA Passage series.
Unable to enter? cruise up, enjoy the on-water display along the way and join in the rest of the festivities.
On Saturday it is all action in Sullivans Bay with Mahurangi Regatta activities, launch parade, boat displays and a classic yacht regatta.
BYO meals and drinks. Barbecue provided.
Don't miss out the CYA Mahurangi BBQ sponsored by L’Authentique, on Saturday night.

Make your way back on Sunday in the Mahurangi Return Yacht race, 4th race in the CYA Passage series..
