About the Classic Yacht Association of New Zealand
The Classic Yacht Association of New Zealand is an incorporated society formed to promote the ownership, preservation and restoration of classic yachts and launches.
These vessels reflect the significant role harbour and coastal sea craft have played in the development of New Zealand communities. The association promotes the fellowship that grows between people who delight in the pleasure of classic vessels and the sea.
Throughout 2020/2021 we look forward to celebrating the Classic Yacht Association's 25th anniversary with a series of regattas and special events.
We will also be joining in the festivities occurring for the 150th anniversary of the Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron and the America’s Cup Defence.
We invite you to join us for the very special year ahead.

Who would have thought back in the early 1990s that the Classic Yacht Association of New Zealand (CYANZ) would be the organization it is today?
