The final passage event of the season is here – and you wont want to miss it. The Historic Round Rangitoto race, rally, cruise and most important Cake Competition.

All routes lead to a fantastic afternoon finish at the Historic Tennis Pavillion at beautiful Islington Bay where the real fun begins.

Bake off time!   Start flicking through those cookbooks, every boat is invited to bring along a show-stopping cake creation. These will be judged by our esteemed panel inside the historic hall .

Prizes up for grabs: Best Decorated Cake – Best Tasting cake – Supreme Overall Cake Champion

Dress to Impress:  Step back in time with a Victorian-themed outfit.  The more flair the better.

Bring your crew, your creativity and your appetitie-  Let’s send the season off in style.

Program of Events

Racing       – 1100hrs – Around Rangitoto for a picturesque circumnavigation of Auckland’s                                 most iconic volcano.

Cruising   –  Follow the fleet around Rangitoto or join the after the race function at Islington                             Bay.

Party         –   Meet up in Islington Bay to go ashore at the old Tennis Pavilion for the                                              Lawson’s Dry Hills Cake Day competition.
