CYA AGM 5TH AUGUST 2026

The Classic Yacht Association (CYA) Annual General Meeting (AGM) on 5 August offered members a chance to hear Chairman Jeremy Chapman reflect on another busy, successful year of racing, rallying, and cruising. He also highlighted the Association’s healthy financial status.

Jeremy reviewed the wide range of activities enjoyed by members over the past 12 months. Jeremy advised he was standing down after his two year chairmanship.
Jeremy was thanked and commended for his leadership, commitment, and outstanding contribution during his term.

The attending members voted on the nominations for the 2026–2027 Committee who will guide the Association through the coming year.

Current committee member David Glen was voted on as the new CYA Chairman for 2026–2027.
