About the Classic Yacht Association of New Zealand

The Classic Yacht Association of New Zealand is an incorporated society formed to promote the ownership, preservation and restoration of classic yachts and launches.

These vessels reflect the significant role harbour and coastal sea craft have played in the development of New Zealand communities. The association promotes the fellowship that grows between people who delight in the pleasure of classic vessels and the sea.

Heritage Landing

Heritage Landing

Heritage Landing is the Classic Yacht Association’s very own on-water home in central Auckland and it is a great place to check out some of our classic fleet. In association with Eke Panuku Development Auckland, we aim to use Heritage Landing to display a range of wooden vessels to showcase Auckland’s maritime history and celebrate our wooden boatbuilders.

Heritage Landing is located next to Silo Marina at the western end of Silo Park in Auckland’s Wynyard Quarter. Heritage Landing is a short walk from the Viaduct across the lifting bridge and along North Wharf.
