The pictures say it all – Great Party, Great racing, Great company

Around 100 yacht and launch crews descended on the bay after a day of superb racing from an Orakei start.  10-12 knots saw almost all of the racing fleet arrive within 1 hour of each other on a reaching wind, to be greeted by our host Mike Mahoney on his beautiful 1901 launch Moerangi to record the finishing boats.  Results- https://topyacht.net.au/results/cyanz/2025/club/index.htm

The pirate dressed crews were greeted on the beach with a tot of rum before meandering up to the classic bach for a BBQ feast and prizegiving read by Richard Cave, finishing the warm night with convivial chatter, and even hearing the notes of a strumming guitar.

A leisurely start on Sunday saw most of the boats depart mid-morning in a following light breeze to sail gently home.
